Several Traffic Tickets? Work Out the Assistance Fee Before You Book

When you need help with more than one traffic ticket, the first useful step is to separate the fines from the assistance charge. Mini Fleet Enterprises offers online payment assistance for eligible Jamaican traffic tickets. The business’s service fee is J$1,000 for the first ticket, plus J$500 for each additional ticket processed in the same request. Ticket fines and other government charges are separate.

Here is how that service fee works: one eligible ticket in a request has a J$1,000 assistance charge. Two tickets in the same request have a J$1,500 assistance charge. Three have a J$2,000 assistance charge, and four have a J$2,500 assistance charge. These figures describe Mini Fleet’s assistance only; they are not the fines and are not a quote for the complete transaction.

A useful personal budget therefore has two columns. In the first, record the official amount to be paid for each ticket once confirmed. In the second, record the agreed assistance fee. Add any other applicable charges only when they have been explained. This makes it easier to compare the quote with the receipt and to ask a specific question if an amount is unclear.

Before booking, count the tickets you want included and tell Mini Fleet that they are part of one request. Confirm that each can be handled through the offered service. Avoid assuming that payment of one ticket also settles another, or that a single service booking automatically includes every item you have. Accurate ticket information is the customer’s responsibility under the current service description.

The Ministry of National Security and Peace’s public FAQ identifies Tax Administration Jamaica offices and jamaicatax.gov.jm among traffic ticket payment channels. Mini Fleet provides optional administrative assistance; it does not replace the government’s payment system. If you prefer to handle an eligible payment yourself, use the official channel and its current instructions.

After processing, keep the official payment evidence and Mini Fleet’s service record together, with a separate reference for each ticket. If an expected confirmation is missing or the details look wrong, ask for clarification before paying the same item again. Organizing records is especially helpful when several transactions have similar amounts or are handled close together.
