Cancellation Policy

Mini Fleet Enterprises - Keep and Care Vehicle Lease Policy (Summary) This policy outlines the essential terms and conditions governing the lease of vehicles operated under Mini Fleet Enterprises for approved ride-sharing services. Vehicle Use All vehicles are leased strictly for Uber and other authorized ride-sharing platforms. Only drivers approved and listed by Mini Fleet Enterprises are permitted to operate the vehicle. Payment Terms The Lessee is required to pay a weekly lease fee via bank transfer to the designated account. Payments are due every Monday by 12:00 p.m. A late fee of JMD $2,000 will be applied if payment is not received within 24 hours of the due time. Vehicle Care and Maintenance The Lessee is responsible for maintaining the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition. This includes conducting daily checks of essential fluids and tire pressure, and presenting the vehicle for mandatory servicing on the last Sunday of each month. Repairs and Mechanical Issues Any mechanical issues must be reported immediately to the Lessor. The Lessee is not authorized to carry out repairs or modifications without prior written approval. Accidents and Insurance All accidents or damage must be reported within two hours. The Lessor maintains insurance coverage; however, the Lessee is responsible for 50 percent of the deductible if found at fault or if the third party is uninsured. The Lessee must comply fully with all insurance requirements. Liability The Lessee assumes full responsibility for the operation and use of the vehicle during the lease period. The Lessor shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the Lessee’s use of the vehicle, except where required by law. Usage Restrictions Subleasing, lending, or allowing unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle is strictly prohibited. Any misuse, illegal activity, or breach of ride-sharing rules will result in immediate termination of the agreement. Default and Repossession Failure to comply with the terms of this agreement, including non-payment or negligence, may result in termination. The Lessor reserves the right to repossess the vehicle. In cases of serious breach, repossession may occur immediately without prior notice. Legal and Jurisdiction This agreement is governed by the laws of Jamaica. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Jamaican courts. A more detailed lease agreement will be presented to you.
